Plant Nerds Unite!

March 14, 2016 by Shannon Dillon 3 Comments

Hey, it’s time for the Second Annual KMED Plant Nerd Night!

This is a great opportunity to hang out with fellow plant nerds, learn about new and exciting plants, and well just have some plain old good fun! In my opinion gardeners are among the happiest and most fun lovin’ group of folks on the planet.  We were among the presenters last year and are honored to be there again this year.   This is a really fun event full of plant shopping, plant presentations by local growers, door prizes and more.  This year there will be 5 presenters and each presenter has just 10 minutes to showcase and talk about their plants so it’s super fast paced.  Our presentation this year will be focused on ‘Pollinator Friendly Plants’ and we’ll have some plants your bees, hummingbirds and butterflies will love available for sale at our table.  Tickets are just $5 at the door. The doors open at 6:00 with presentations starting at 7:00.  Come early and grab a beer or a glass of wine and shop for an hour before or after the show.  During the presentations all sales are closed so that all attention is focused on the presenters.

The location is on the Bigham Knoll Campus in the gymnasium.  525 Bigham Knoll Drive, Jacksonville, OR
