If you need a long season bloomer for a sunny spot Gaillardia is just the ticket! ‘Burgundy’ will bloom most of the summer, especially if you keep it dead headed.  It has a low mound of olive-green leaves, bearing large  wine-red daisies.  Grows taller than ‘Goblin’ and looks lovely planted together.  Very attractive to butterflies. Grows 12-18″ tall. Full sun. Perennial.
