Cucumber ‘Lemon’

 This  heirloom variety was introduced in 1894 and is still a favorite! The skin is yellow with black spines. The fruit is round and should be harvested when about the size of a lemon.  Even when eaten with the skin, lemon cucumbers have good flavor and no bitterness. The vines are vigorous but production slows in really hot weather. 58 days
