Spanish priests grew cosmos in their mission gardens in Mexico. The evenly placed petals led them to christen the flower “Cosmos,” the Greek word for harmony or ordered universe. These are one of the fastest growing annuals and one of our favorites. They deliver blooms all season long and even hold up in the fall to a light frost. Perfect for bouquets and the pollinators love them. Height differs by variety. Prefer full sun. Annual.
