Columbine ‘Tequila Sunrise’ (Aquilegia)

This columbine was brought into cultivation as early as 1865 and has been since forgotten until very recently with the re-introduction of this selected new strain. This is a beautiful hardy perennial plant with lovely fern-like foliage and a seemingly inexhaustible supply of stems with long-spurred flowers that are bright copper-red and orange with yellow centers.  Grows to 24″ tall.  Attracts butterflies.  Perennial sun to light shade.
