Borage ‘Alba’

Borage ‘Alba’ is a versatile culinary herb that is often planted solely to attract bees because its starry blooms fill with nectar almost continuously. It’s also a great companion plant grown with strawberries, tomatoes, squash, bush beans, and lettuce.  The young leaves can be added to salads, the fresh flowers can be used to garnish iced drinks. Pinch back early to encourage bushiness and deadhead to prolong bloom, but leave some to self-sow. The blossoms and leaves are edible. Grows 24″ tall by 18″ wide.
