Amaranthus ‘Love-Lies-Bleeding’

Love-Lies-Bleeding boast, large, almost tropical leaves, over and through which the crimson tassels cascade to the ground. Each of these fascinating crimson or purple tassels is a colony of tightly packed, tiny flowers and lasts for many weeks on the plant. Quite a show stopper in the border or as a cut flower.  The flowers dry well and retain most of their color.  Grows 3-4′ tall in full sun with average water.  Annual.
