Pepper ‘Bulgarian Carrot’

70-80 days. The 18-inch tall plant will produce clusters of peppers that are 3 1/2inches long, and ripen from green to  bright fluorescent orange. It has an intense fruity flavor that finishes hot. The crunchy flesh is perfect for roasting, drying, or pickling.  These little buggers look like a carrot but kick like cayenne! Rumor has it that these chilies were smuggled out from behind the Iron Curtain in the 1980’s and have been growing in popularity ever since.
