This sweet little alpine forms a low cushion of green leaves bearing short stems of upward facing carmine-red flowers in early spring.  It prefers a a slightly shaded location and really dislikes drying out completely. Deer resistant and really looks stunning in pots. Grows 8-10″ tall. Perennial.  Semi-shade.
