Spaghetti squash is a large yellow, oval-shaped gourd with a mild flavor. The flesh, once cooked, shreds into pieces that resemble spaghetti noodles. It has a very mild flavor that is perfect for topping with a marinara sauce. A great alternative in a low-carb diet. Keeps very well. Introduced by Sakata Seed Co. of Japan in 1934. 88 days. Annual.
