Horehound

Horehound is a sturdy  and  useful herb that is easy to grow.  It is a hardy perennial growing to 2′ tall and can take drought and rocky soil. It has been used for years to treat coughs and other lung ailments and is most often found in cough drops.  The leaves can be dried to make a tea and the flowers are loved by pollinating bees and butterflies.
