Arugula

Ancient Romans and Egyptians considered it to be an aphrodisiac. The British cultivated it for centuries, and it was in the earliest gardens in New England. Arugula or ‘Rocket’ produces good yields of beautiful dark green leaves with a spicy, nutty taste. Terrific used in salads and sandwiches. Can be grown from early spring to late fall. One of our favorite greens.  45 days. Sun. Annual.
